Income Protection offers you and your family the
financial
peace of mind should you be unlucky enough
to be out of
work, due to an illness or injury. It is
designed to compensate
for any loss of earnings you
will suffer should you be
unable to work.
Depending on the type of plan you choose, you can
received
up to 75% of your normal weekly income.
This will be paid
to you after a deferred period - normally
13 weeks. You will
receive in tax relief on all premiums
you pay, up to a
maximum of 10% of your total salary
at your marginal rate
of tax. You will receive your
income benefit net of income
tax under PAYE.
For example, a 30 year old male non smoker can
protect
an income of € 50,000 for as little as € 2 per
day.
Think about the following for the moment:

travel
insurance?
